One of KNIFE’s particular strengths lies in its origins: the event is organized by the German Blade Museum in Solingen – and thus by the city of Solingen itself. Hardly any other place in the world stands so consistently for the art of blacksmithing, uncompromising quality standards, and the close connection between tradition and history surrounding blades of all kinds as the blade city of Solingen. These are precisely the values that characterize KNIFE.

We are therefore delighted to present you with a varied program again this year – in addition to the trade fair itself. At the exhibition grounds and in the immediate vicinity of KNIFE, you can look forward to special program items, encounters, and formats that allow you to experience the character of the event beyond the exhibition itself.

• The BÖKER Experience Area – experience knives!
• Stage program in the hall
• Lectures on exciting “knife topics”

• Historical fencing (HEMA) – hands-on workshops
• Filipino Martial Arts – hands-on workshops
• The EDGE AREA – everything to do with sharpening, to try out and watch

• Knife raffle (blades for a good cause) with great prizes
• Factory tours at various Solingen manufacturers
• Visit to the new exhibition “Me Fecit Solingen” in the German Blade Museum
