KNIFE Solingen 2025 is just around the corner – Europe’s largest trade fair for knife manufacturers and makers. To make the registration process as simple, transparent, and efficient as possible for exhibitors, we have introduced a new system. Here’s a step-by-step guide to securing your booth.

Why a New Process?

Our goal is to make registration as smooth as possible while ensuring fairness and planning security for all participants. The new process offers:

  1. More Transparency : Clear deadlines and criteria.
  2. Faster Procedures : Automated steps save time.
  3. Flexibility: Special requests, such as neighbouring tables, can be accommodated.

 

The New Registration Process in 5 Steps

Application

The first step is to apply via the online form. Applicants are classified into the following categories:

• DMG Members/Candidates
• DMG Sponsored Table
• Newcomer Table
• Regular Exhibitors

Your application will be reviewed based on submitted photos and links. This process is conducted in collaboration with the German Knifemakers’ Guild (DMG) to ensure quality and correct classification.

💡 Tip: Submit your application by 15 March 2025 to receive a 15% early bird discount.

Registration & Booth Booking

Once your application is approved, you will gain access to the booking platform, where you can:

✅ Select your hall and specify special requests (e.g., neighbouring tables)
✅ Automatically generate your invoice

⚠️ Important: Exhibitors from previous years do not need to go through the approval process again and will receive faster access to the booking page.

Payment

✅ Payments are processed exclusively via invoice.
✅ Your booth reservation is only confirmed once payment is received.

⚠️ Important: Ensure timely payment to be included in the next booth allocation round.

Booth Allocation

Booths will be allocated in five phases:

• Phase 1: Applications submitted by 31 March 2025 receive an early bird discount. Allocation on 17 May 2025.
• Phase 2: Applications submitted by 30 April 2025. Allocation on 17 July 2025.
• Phase 3: Applications submitted by 30 June 2025. Allocation on 15 September 2025.
• Phase 4: Applications submitted by 30 September 2025. Allocation on 5 October 2025.
• Final Deadline: 30 September 2025 – No applications will be accepted after this date.

Confirmation

After booth allocation, you will receive a confirmation email with your booth number. If any adjustments are needed, they can be arranged in consultation with the event organisers.
