KNIFE 2026 offers an exciting program of events, workshops, and exhibitions. Look forward to:
KNIFE Forum: Lectures, panel discussions, and interviews on trends and topics from the world of knives. Hosts: Carsten Zulauf, Jörg Urbainczyk
KNIFE Award 2026: Exhibition of all participating pieces, award ceremony, and audience award (more information here)
Böker Experience Area: Proper outdoor use of knives: batoning, carving, bushcraft skills. Watch and try out for yourself!
Edge Area: Workshops, demonstrations, and product presentations on sharpening and grinding
Demonstrations: Action and craftsmanship – cutting tests with a world record sword, fitting of a rapier, metal engraving and gem setting under the microscope, and the art of scrimshaw engraving
Martial Arts Workshops: High-quality training ranging from medieval sword fighting to Filipino Arnis and Kali, 400 m from the KNIFE (more information here)
Böker Factory Tours: Exciting insights into the traditional Solingen blade production at the Heinr. Böker Baumwerk GmbH 300m from KNIFE by foot
Food Area: A huge selection of different food options for every taste
And at Deutsches Klingenmuseum, the German Blade Museum: Exhibitions featuring blades from around the world and public tours, opportunities for forging, a specialized museum library, and the special exhibition SHE BLADES. A shuttle bus runs directly from KNIFE to the museum; the ride and museum admission are included in the KNIFE ticket.
